Composition: Map One

A unique take on the string quartet, FATE MAPS | ONE features multiple takes, spliced and diced to showcase the confluence of disciplines and interests of the group. Over 20 minutes, a languid, uncanny chord sequence, defined by intervallic rules is attacked with strong gestural counterpoint and free improvisations.

The result is a tension filled, richly dynamic acoustic experience, with a touch of tragedy.
